Dog Walking
Dogs love company, both human and canine, but it’s not always possible to be there for them. Perhaps you work full or part time and want regular, reliable help or perhaps there has been a change in personal circumstances and you need short term assistance, even an emergency situation and there is no-one else available to take them out. I can offer a reliable and caring dog walking service for any time of the day to suit and your dog.
Diamond Pet Care is fully insured and I am police security checked every 2 years, copies of which will be provided at the free initial visit during which we can discuss your pets likes and dislikes, routines, dietary requirements and any specific needs he or she may require. Prospective clients and their dog are also very welcome to join me on a dog walk prior to any decision.
I also offer one to one dog walking for those who prefer their own company.
Area covered: Harrogate, Knaresborough and surrounding villages.
- I walk a maximum of 4 dogs at any one time – your dog deserves my full attention.
- Your dog will be collected in my custom fitted van and remain secure during the journey, normally in a separate roomy crate for each dog.
- Dogs are walked on varied and safe routes for a minimum of 50 - 60 mins with off-lead running after assessment and with owners persmission.
- Dogs are given the opportunity to play with toys (if allowed) and some basic training and games for mental stimulation which is an important aspect for the working breeds.
- Shorter walks are available for elderly or dogs recovering from injury
- Dogs toweled down in wet weather
- I will remain with your dog on return to ensure he or she is settled before leaving them, during which time I shall leave a note in their personal diary to say where they have been and any other information I feel is relevant
- Customer’s keys are coded only and kept in a keysafe when at my home
- I scoop all poop and dispose of it in a responsible manner
- I do not use any staff. All dogs are walked by me personally.

Please Note
I would ask that all dogs are vaccinated annually (a copy of the vaccination certificate will be required), are microchipped or tattooed and wear a secure collar with an ID tag.
