Home Visits

Diamond Pet Care offers home visits for cats, small furries and feathered friends.

I will undertake one visit per day to:

• Provide fresh food and water and bowls cleaned
• Clean out cat litter trays
• Clean out hutches and cages
• Fresh bedding as required
• Medication if required and a little cuddle and some company
• Post will be moved
• Plants watered
• Curtains opened/closed and timers checked
• The house fully checked and made secure on leaving

Customer's keys will be coded only and kept in a safe in my home. After spending 19 years in the security industry I am experienced in the use of intruder alarm systems.

As an experienced diabetic cat owner, I know how difficult life can be with the crucial timing of insulin injections.  Even a full day away is dictated by the timing of feeding and injections.  As diabetic cats must be kept as unstressed as possible, a cattery (if they will undertake the injections) is not a suitable option.

I can offer a one off visit or twice daily visits of one hour, to feed and then inject your cat.  I am confident in the specific handling of insulin and needles and know what to watch for in your cats behavior (I will require a detailed resume of his or her normal activities) to help prevent a hypoglycemic state.

Horses

Having had my own horses and my partner Johnny having worked on a stud farm, we can also offer:

• Turning out/Bringing in
• Feeding
• Mucking out
• Hooves picked out etc.
• Any other animal feeding
• Sorry – no riding or exercising

Distances covered

Harrogate, Knaresborough and surrounding villages. Other area covered, but additional mileage charges will apply at £0.25 per mile for areas exceeding a 7 mile radius of my home address.
